Once more Alex V can't answer the most simple of questions because the only answer doesn't fit his agenda.

>>> I'm certain that most supporters know a player who isn't putting in 100...

I think the trouble with that is that you get lots of assumptions made from the stands that may or may not be true. There's barely been a player at the club in recent years who hasn't been accused of being lazy on here. Need to be careful with this imo.

Obviously if it becomes something that can't be dealt with by a clear the air meeting, then the club just have to tidy it up as best they can. I personally don't think it would reflect well on anybody involved if it can't be repaired. Just opinions...

He was awesome in the man city game last year. Has shown flashes of brilliance at times.

However, just for his record of never losing a game he's scored in means we should stick!

If Bilic does nothing about it, it says Amalfitano doesn't have to attend team meetings, everyone else decides the same, team unity disintegrates, performance disintegrates and we have to look for a new manager.

charleyfarley 7:51 Wed Aug 12
Re: West Ham's Slaven Bilic bombs out Morgan Amalfitano after Frenchman ''gave him attitude''
So Alex it should be left and nothing said.
I reckon other players would have something to say about that, especially if they being overlooked by Bilic and Amalfitano gets a game ahead of them.

Re: West Ham's Slaven Bilic bombs out Morgan Amalfitano after Frenchman ''gave him attitude''
In any other walk of life, if you turned up for a work team meeting late, or didn't turn up at all you'd better have a good excuse.

Why does Amalfitano think he's better than that?

Re: West Ham's Slaven Bilic bombs out Morgan Amalfitano after Frenchman ''gave him attitude''
V - I'm certain that most supporters know a player who isn't putting in 100, and that's why they'd side with the manager on this one.

His behaviour at west Brom lasr season was disgraceful, his performances in the second half of the campaign not much better, and his games in Europe this season even worse. If he's now not turning up or giving the manager shit, he should be out the door immediately, let alone banned from training with the first team

So players shouldn't be punished for not turning up for work?

Simple question Alex V, why wont you answer it? Is it because only one answer is right and it doesn't suit your strange position on this one?

As for Payet, please enlighten me to what he's done?

>>> No surprise that Alex has a view contrary to the majority

So weird to assume the echo chamber on here constitutes some sort of majority view. I'm certain that most Hammers fans would be supportive of Amalfitano and respect his ability and just want him to do well on the pitch.

It's only the more judgemental types imo who would want to write him off. Thankfully I don't think they represent the majority of fans.

Re: West Ham's Slaven Bilic bombs out Morgan Amalfitano after Frenchman ''gave him attitude''
>>> It's not a petty distribute he undermined the new managers authority, Bilic had no other option.

Maybe. I don't know the circumstances. My opinion is that compared to a multi-million pound contract for a top sportsman, most personal clashes are going to be petty. Player or coach, the bigger picture of getting victories on the field is more important imo.

If it was just a question of bombing out every disruptive player with attitude, then by all accounts we would never have seen the likes of Di Canio or Dicks play for the club. Or Payet for that matter, who has had a few scrapes in the past as well.

Hopefully it will be resolved and everyone moves on with the important matters, ie performances on the pitch. That's really all that matters.

Far Cough 6:35 Wed Aug 12
Re: West Ham's Slaven Bilic bombs out Morgan Amalfitano after Frenchman ''gave him attitude''
"Petty disputes"?

If you let one get away with it, then others will think they can do the same, Bilic is spot on in installing disciplinary action

No surprise that Alex has a view contrary to the majority

Seriously?

Personally I can't remember ever seeing him have a good game when he's started, every time he's impressed is when he's come on as a sub.

Still he was bombed out for pretty much the same thing at his last club, so it's no real shock.
